Marcela & Andrew

Marcela and Andrew invited me to their loving home to defrost my toes before trekking in the snow for their engagement session. The space was SO wholesome and inviting, the perfect place to grow old together. The pair live there with a ferocious little Shih Tzu and gentle gigantic Mastiff. The two fell in love where almost all blooming romances begin in Buffalo. Andrew, fresh out of an Every Time I Die show, decided to wander down to Allentown to see what joyous shenanigans he could dive into. On this very same night, Marcela's friends dragged her out to the bars (she rarely did this!!). The two locked eyes and then BAM! The rest is royal Buffalo history. (P.S. I love everyone in all of these photos)

When choosing a location for their engagement session, Marcela, Andrew, and I bounced a lot of ideas around back and forth. Should we go to this park, should we go to that park? I love exploring places that are meaningful to a couple, spaces they connect with. After visiting their new home, I knew that was a special and sacred place. We explored a bit inside before heading into their backyard, look at those dreamy trees!

Dancing In the Street

After a brief (and much needed) thaw-session of hot cocoa and coffee, we explored this GORGEOUS road. Driving to Marcela and Andrew's house, I fell in LOVE with this street. When I told Marcela, she shared with me that she often drives out of the way to travel down the road! It's their favorite drive! This was a hilarious adventure; dodging traffic and wet snow puddles, using front yards as woodsy backdrops, posing in front of a friendly neighbor who decided to smoke on her porch for a front row view of Marcela and Andrew kissing! THE BEST.

These two are the sweetest and I simply CANNOT wait to celebrate with them on their big day this fall. Cheers to Marcela and Andrew! Kudos to them for playing in the snow with me :) And for everyone else living in Western New York, stay warm and be safe!
